I don't admit this often, but economics was one of my favorite subjects in college. I was one of these rare students who actually understood what that guy at the front of the room was talking about. It often took some serious mental gymnastics, but those things clicked for me. This is why I still love reading these types of books. While there are no graphs to ponder over here, author Jo M. Sekimonyo gives the reader plenty to think about as he delves into his take on economic inequality and socioeconomic policy in the 21st century. Have some misgivings about the effectiveness of a capitalistic society? This may be the book for you.
